Before starting the course…
Before I started this course, I had learned the system of Association for Project Management (APM) in the UK for a year and later have been doing PM career for 2 years. I am interested in product management after I have a comprehensive in project management. Thus, I found ‘SXMC仕新’ according to their course arrangement and lecturer.
During the course…
A lecturer, Ciddy, shared her experiences and describe the knowledge of NPDP including structure at the first lesson. She had a passionate and patient attitude in her professional area during the lessons.
The lecturer structured a table, which organized all of contents about NPD. Like bone and meat for human kind, that really helped us to understand and to remember easily. Moreover, using the practical example (ex: case study) to respond the theory of NPD leads to constantly increasing our impression.
The lecturer explained every questions of homework. If any concern, we would discuss it to obtain a commitment. That was useful. SXMC organized the course book to shorten student prepared time in writing homework and preparing NPDP exam. The lecturer emphasized the NPD concept is vital, but we do not need to recite each page.
In a conclusion, following the path, Ciddy arranged, is to go on a correct purpose.

Preparation after the course…
To prepare NPDP exam, the homework was to help me to build the concept and the procedure. When I did wrong after finished my homework, I would search the course book and additional documents to correct my mistake or bias. If still cannot persuade mine, I would discuss with the lecturer at the next course.

Before the exam
Basically, I only prepared a week excluding normal homework and preparation within 24 hours.
My suggestion is to remember the structure of whole NPD procedure. Before going to do exam, I practiced and practiced, and understood the practical questions. Logical thinking was also important when I prepared or during the exam.
Not really complex, if you have a robust concept in NPD and follow the way from the lecturer’s suggestion.

Suggestion to SXMC:
SXMC can use a questionnaire to identify which program the person who really needs with a professional employee. For example, PMP is not just one way to fit every occupation. I am a software PM. If I am willing to learn PMI-ACP, should I know the PERT or Gantt chart in advance? Does it help me to use in practical experience? Or I should use SCRUM from PMI-ACP which is much appropriate than PMP.
As a result, SXMC has robust lecturer institution and wide selections for people to choose a proper program. Additionally, the attitude of lecturers from SXMC has passionate, patient, and professional with many practical experiences.
